The band didn't last long — they called it in 1975 after two albums. But their members kept going. Belmont landed in the Rumour, Graham Parker's backing band. The pub rock spirit they'd helped define fed directly into what punk became two years later. The Ducks were part of the reason the fuse was already lit.
