The Greatest Supergroup You Never Saw.

December 1968. John Lennon assembled four of rock and roll's most dangerous musicians for a single, unrepeatable performance. He called them The Dirty Mac.

The lineup: John Lennon (performing as Winston Leg-Thigh). Eric Clapton. Keith Richards. Mitch Mitchell.

They took the stage for the Rolling Stones' TV special The Rolling Stones Rock and Roll Circus — a one-night event that also featured the Who, Jethro Tull, and the Stones themselves. The Dirty Mac tore through Lennon's "Yer Blues" and descended into "Whole Lotta Yoko," an extended blues improvisation joined by Yoko Ono and violinist Ivry Gitlis.

The special was never broadcast as planned. It sat in a vault for 28 years before finally being released officially in October 1996. The Dirty Mac played together exactly once. There was no second show.

Wear the cap. Know the story.

Complete the look: Pair with the Dirty Mac Premium Unisex T-Shirt — same story, same one night, same legendary lineup.
