Before rock and roll. Before soul. Before hip hop. There was jazz.
It started in New Orleans at the turn of the 20th century — a collision of blues, ragtime, gospel, and African rhythm that produced something the world had never heard before. Louis Armstrong gave it a voice. Duke Ellington gave it architecture. Miles Davis gave it cool. John Coltrane gave it transcendence. Charlie Parker played so fast and so far ahead that other musicians thought he was from another planet.
Jazz is the original American art form. It invented improvisation as a language. It broke every rule about what music was supposed to sound like and then invented new rules that everyone else spent decades trying to follow. It crossed every racial and cultural boundary at a time when that took real courage.
The legends on this tee didn't just play music. They changed what music could be.
Available in Black, Dark Grey, and Vintage White — because jazz sounds good in any key.
